Can't blame the Hatted One, there's only so many teams you can completely ignore the clock against.
Anywho, Miles and the rest of the SEC coaches gave their opinions about possible expansion coming to the self-identified greatest football conference in the history of the world.
Most of the comments were prototypical coaching blather. Miles almost came out alone to give an opinion.
"I think most of college football is looking for a format like we have, to allow for a championship game that allows them to ... play for postseason honors," Miles said. "It will be interesting. I think it's always a difficult thing to expand and make the schedule fair. Hopefully it won't happen quickly in this league."
This can be translated to: "Expansion is okay as long as you don't do it until after I take the Michigan job in 2011."
