Toronto did not land Brad Richards, but they managed to get pretty much the next best option up the middle in former Sabre, Tim Connolly.  Now, the former statement is not meant to suggest that Connolly is on the same level or even close to Richards - far from it - but he’s not bad.  In fact he’s quite talented, he just cannot stay healthy.  The guy has been ripped over the years by concussions. Connolly has not played more than 73 games in a single season since 2002-03.  He’s averaged just 50 games per season.  He is a setup guy, though, and the Leafs will hope he can click with Kessel. Let’s be honest… Bozak was and is not the answer, at least not yet anyway.  The Leafs inked Connolly for 2 years for $4.75M per season....
