Can the Los Angeles Lakers make it 3 NBA Championships in a row? The announcement thatPhil Jackson will return as head coach gives the Lakers and Kobe Bryant a great chance at getting it done. I'm glad to see team owner Jerry Buss keeping this current group together and not dismantling a championship team while they are still on top. I always think back to the Michael Jordan era Chicago Bulls and how their front office destroyed a championship team that was still able to play at the highest level. My philosophy is to let a team continue it's run until there is no doubt. Fans pay big money to watch their favorite teams and deserve to see the best! Now Lakers fans can enjoy the rest of the summer and not have to worry about whether Phil would come back. The team may actually be better next season depending on their free agent signings!
