According to ESPNchicago.com, big-man Kurt Thomas has agreed to a deal with the Chicago Bulls. Terms of the deal were not announced. Thomas is a 15-year-veteran who last played for the Milwaukee Bucks, averaging three points and four rebounds per game. He has averaged nine points and seven rebounds for his career.
Thomas will most likely be backing up Joakim Noah, who is becoming one of the rising centers in the NBA. Thomas is believed to play the role of what Brad Miller played last year when he backed up Noah. Thomas, like Miller, well also serve as a mentor to him and guide him to success. The same will go for rookie center Omer Asik.
The Bulls are expected to add one more player to the team before going into training camp. It was said the Bulls would add a guard. I guess we'll see.
