The Bulls came in to town yesterday for a Christmas Day matinee and the Knicks beat Chicago for the second time this season. This game was back and forth throughout as Derrick Rose was doing what he usually does and that is putting on a show. Although the Bulls killed the Knicks on the offensive glass they were able to hold off Chicago 103-95. The Knicks turned up the defense in the fourth quarter as they held Chicago to a measly 12 points.
There was almost some old school Knicks/Bulls action as Derrick Rose took exception to a hard foul by Amar'e Stoudemire. Maybe D-Rose was mad that Amar'e sent his lay up earlier in the game into the 5th row? Also I thought Amar'e Stoudemire wasn't a shot blocker? How is 6 blocks for a non shot blocker named Amar'e? I think 2.2 blocks per game average on the young season is pretty good for a guy who can't block shots....I'm just saying.
Amar'e Stoudemire's stat line from yesterday 20 points, 10 rebounds, 2 steals and 6 blocks pretty good for a guy "who can't play with out Steve Nash"....Anybody talking about Steve Nash this year?.....I'm just saying.
