Kevin Garnett scored 20 points in 20 minutes to lead the Boston Celtics to a 97-84 victory over the New York Knicks on Saturday Night. The Celtics improved to 6-1 in the preseason. Paul Pierce added 16 points. Glen " Big Baby" Davis played a solid game scoring 15 points and grabbing 7 boards.
Nate Robinson continued to be the team's sparkplug by scoring 13 points. Von Wafer added 8 points, while Stephane Lasme scored 7 points. Wafer & Lasme combined for 9 rebounds off the bench.
Danilo Gillinari led the Knicks with 20 points, while Wilson Chandler & Raymond Felton scored 17,and 16 points apiece.
