While meeting with members of the media in Chicago Tuesday as part of the Big Ten spring meetings, Commissioner Jim Delany said a lot and really didn't say that much.
He said the conference may get to the end of the 12-18 month evaluation period and decide not to expand (yea, that's realistic).
He said the conference may pass on a championship game (let's see, conference championship games equal big money ... since when did the B10 and Delany pass up the cash).
He said potential expansion is being driven by the shift of the U.S. population to the south (now those rumors of Georgia Tech, Texas, Vanderbilt, etc. don't seem so odd).
