After one week of being in 2nd place in the AFC East the Jets are now back on top. With The Jets winning in Detroit and The Patriots getting crushed by the Browns, the teams now again have identical records at 6-2. This puts the Jets at the top spot for two reasons, the first is that in their one head to head match up, the Jets put a 28-14 beating on the Pats back in week 2. The second is that the Patriots have one more AFC loss than the Jets do. The Jets got lucky in that their loss two weeks ago was to an NFC team. This means that aside from the Jets overall win-loss record, there loss against the Packers will have no affect on any tie-breaking scenarios as we get closer so playoff time. Also a big thanks should go out to the Mangenious down in Cleveland. He did his old team another huge favor when the Browns beat up on the Pats. However, it won't be a long lasting thanks because Gang Green heads down to play the Surging Browns this week. Hopefully they will fix their mistakes and will do what the Patriots failed to do this week
