The Blue, White and Orange bring their passports across the Border tonight as they battle Brian Burke's Toronto Maple Leafs. Burke, who left Anaheim a few years ago to take over a disaster of an organization, has his Toronto Maple Leafs undefeated thru four games this year. A team that had been decimated by injuries last year come into the season healthy and with an improving power-play.  Toronto has their own Two-Headed Monster of a Giguere- Gustavsson combo have been a notch better then Dipietro and Roloson.

In last Fridays game against the New York Rangers, Phil Kessel scored 2 power-play goals, the latter in Overtime giving him 4 on the year. A healthy Phil Kessel paired with Mike Komiserak will be deadly for the rest of the league.  Clarke MacArthur leads the Leafs with 5 goals on the year.

This will definitely be the Islanders biggest test of the year going up a team who desperately was trying to prevent John Tavares from heading to the Island. Rumors did surface that when Burke took office last summer, he reached out to the Tavares camp to plan out a strategy to keep JT in Canada since the  Leafs had the 3rd pick. I wouldn't put it past Burke since he's a shrewd wheeler and dealer. Just another reason to HATE the LEAFS!!!!!!!

If the Isles are gonna win tonight they need to stay out of the penalty box. They did to give Tavares alitte more ICE-TIME. They need solid goaltending and El Nino needs to play smart. Its hard to imagine this team won't get better when Rob Schremp comes back. Snow will have a serious decision to make about El Nino after the ninth game of the season to send him to Portland or declare he's an Islander for the year.  Enjoy the BRAWL below;It was from one of the best New York Islanders playoff games I ever witnessed.
