Interview With Former 2003 BCS National Championship MVP Justin Vincent

Justin Vincent was a standout running back for the LSU Tigers from 2003-2006. In his four year career, he rushed for 2,021 yards and 17 touchdowns. Vincent had great hands and had 28 receptions in his career for 297 yards. He burst onto to the scene in Baton Rouge during his freshman season rushing for 1,001 yards and 10 touchdowns. He led the Tigers down the stretch run toward the 2003 BCS National Championship and was named both 2003 SEC Championship MVP (vs.Georgia) and 2003 BCS National Championship MVP (vs. Oklahoma).

Vincent was a rare combination of size and strength at running back and was a phenomenal special teams player for the Tigers. Vincent played in the NFL for the Pittsburgh Steelers and was part of the Steelers 2010 Super Bowl team. 

Currently, Vincent is the Assistant Director of Player Personnel for the Tigers and has been instrumental in the Tigers having the #2 ranked recruiting class for 2014.
