This game was decided in a defensive battle, even though the score on Montreal's side shows otherwise. The score was 6-3 at the end of the opening quarter and 10-6 at the half. It wasn't until 13:10 of the forth quarter when Anthony Calvillo completed a 32 yard pass to Kerry Watkins that the Alouettes broke a 7 quarter touchdown drought. Not that the Ti-Cats were ripping threw the defense through the air. Kevin Glenn was only 50% and was pulled in favor of Quinton Porter who threw for 70 yards, a TD, and an INT.
The rushing games weren't going good either as Deandre' Cobb only racked up 25 yards on 8 attempts, while Avon Cobourne only ran for 55 yards on the same amounts of attempts.
The points came from the kickers. Damon Duval put 7 footballs through the uprights and missed one for the single, while the Ti-Cats Deangelis, scored 7 points.
Hamilton's Kick returner Marcus Thigpen was kept quiet only managing to run for 56 yards.
The major turning point in the game occurred when john Bowman took down Glenn to force a fumble and took it to the Ti-Cat 22. Another one was a punt block that ended up on the black and gold's 16. Lucky for them, both only ended up in field goals.
With the loss, Hamilton moves to (1-3). The Alouettes improve to (3-1)
