The Indians have acquired infielder Justin Sellers from the Dodgers in exchange for cash considerations, the club announced. In a corresponding move to create a 40-man roster spot for Sellers, the Tribe has designated first baseman David Cooper for assignment. Sellers was himself designated for assignment by L.A. last week and the move to Cleveland frees him from DFA Limbo.
