Last night I went to the 70th annual Indiana vs Kentucky high school all star game.
The player that everyone had there eyes on was Deshaun Thomas.
He is the 22nd rated player in the 2010 basketball class and committed to Ohio State.
Thomas and Jared Sullinger, the 5th rated player in the 2010 class highlight the Buckeyes' recruiting.
Deshaun Thomas was a force in the paint and from the perimeter. The Kentucky big man couldn't keep Thomas from scoring.
Deshaun Thomas ended with 28 points and 12 rebounds. Thomas went to the line for 18 free throws during the game and made 15 of them.
Indiana won over Kentucky 81-69. Kentucky's Mr. Basketball Elijah Justice was no disappointment though, he looked like Pete Maravich on a few of his plays.
On one play, Elijah Justice made a no look behind the back pass for a Kentucky layup. Elijah also was spot on from the 3 point line.
Elijah Justice ended the game with 20 points, 3 rebounds, and 4 assists.
Justice will attend the University of Louisville. Rick Pitino gave Justice a nickname, The Silver Bullet.
Both Deshaun Thomas and Elijah Justice were Mr. Basketball for both of there respective states and it showed. Thomas and Justice led both of there teams in scoring.
Overall, the Indiana vs Kentucky All Star Game was filled with division 1 prospects and entertaining to watch.
Look out for Deshaun Thomas for Ohio State this year. He could be a force for Thad Matta and the Buckeyes.
