When the Los Angeles Clippers came to the Verizon Center, everyone was hoping that this would be one opponent that the Wizards could stick with. That was not the case on Saturday as the Clips routed our beloved Wiz 122-101.

Washington was never close in the game. In the mid-3rd quarter, the Wizards made a run, only to be thwarted by the Clippers' offense and a horrendous defense.

John Wall, the Wizard's number one overall pick, went off as usual in this game, but it was to no avail. Netting 25 points, 7 rebounds, and 8 assists, Wall was just a hair away from another double-double.

As for the match up of the stars, Blake Griffin and Wall, the Los Angeles star won the battle. Scoring 26 points in the first half alone, Griffin did not score again in the game and his team still won by a heafty margin.
