The Buckeyes used the big play to attack the Horned Frog defense. DeVier Posey hauled in a 74-yard pass from Terrelle Pryor to open the scoring, and Jordan Hall broke off a 33-yard touchdown run after TCU had drawn within 13-10 in the fourth quarter, to lead the Buckeyes to victory. Hall's touchdown run came on a two-play 77-yard drive that featured a 44-yard burst from Daniel Herron. For the most part the TCU defense shut down Ohio State.
