Everyone has LeBron James and Chris Bosh going to the same place. LeBron James should think though, why would he want to play with a guy who has never lead his team past the first round in the playoffs? The smart choice would be talking to Dirk Nowitzki and convincing him to play with him.
Dirk is 32, but he can give LeBron a better chance to win an NBA championship right now. Chris Bosh can't give you as much as Dirk. Nowitzki can shoot from the three point line, Bosh can't make much from there.
LeBron James would have to force Dirk Nowitzki not to sign back with Dallas. I don't think it would be that hard to do. What would happen if LeBron and Dirk paired on for example, the Chicago Bulls?
That combo with Chicago would equal titles right away for many years. Add those two with Derrick Rose and Joakim Noah would be the fearsome foursome of the NBA.
We get to Miami, I don't think that would work. Miami would rather have Bosh then Nowitzki. The reason, Bosh is a better post up player in the paint.
The Knicks wouldn't work either, due to both Nowitzki and James would have to not take the maximum deal. That's a deal breaker for both I would expect.
Now, this team is the perfect fit for Nowitzki and James. The team is the New Jersey Nets. New Jersey can offer more then any other team for this pair.
Mikhail Prokorov could offer Dirk to be even more of an international giant from Germany maybe throughout Europe. Same goes for LeBron James for Prokorov to tell him. then, Jay-Z is LeBron's best friend a could easily persuade him to New Jersey.
The Nets are moving to Brooklyn, which is a marketing giant and could make this even more enticing for both of them.
New Jersey has a great duo already their with Devin Harris and Brook Lopez. Dirk Nowitzki could start at power forward and LeBron would obviously start at small forward.
LeBron James is the biggest free agent in this class. He should not go along with Chris Bosh, make the smart choice and join forces with Dirk Nowitzki.
If this duo were to happen, they should go to New Jersey. It makes way too much sense for Dirk and LeBron.
