High expectations is set for American professional blue chip boxer, King Rock Blackwell. With (2011) super six winner and undefeated world champion Andre "SOG" Ward presently the king pin of the division, many boxing analysts believe in time Rock will become the next super middle weight super star.
Now fighting and training out of Delran, NJ under the guidance of world class boxing coach; James "Rick" Coward, the fighter & trainer duo is a heavy favorite to win a world championship. Head trainer James "Rick" Coward is a master of biomechanics and perpetual motion, many comparisons to legendary trainer Roger Mayweather. With Rock's boxing prowess & raw talent combined with the world class fighting wisdom of James Coward, it is only a matter of time when the two will rule the super middle weight division.
Rock is a good schooled explosive fighter, competing in 156 olympic style bouts, winning the 2008 South Atlantic Championship and then turning professional in may of 2009. Due to a broken right hand and severe dehydration, Blackwell holds only one career defeat at super welter weight (2009). Blackwell is also involved in many youth development programs, using his life as testimony to encourage troubled teens to pursue there dreams. Rock is scheduled to fight on March 24th, 2012 in Buffalo, New York. The big apple will marvel at the pro blue chip Blackwell after witnessing his boxing ability, speed and power.
I' am honestly looking forward to the final product of Rock Blackwell. Truly this kid will some day awe the boxing community, not only by becoming champion of the world but a champion among men.
