The Chicago Blackhawks will face off against the Phoenix Coyotes in the first round of this year’s Stanley Cup Playoffs.

The Hawks finished sixth in the Conference and the Coyotes finished third because they won the Pacific Division.

Key Hawks Players for the Series

Jonathan Toews

Jonathan Toews is the fearless Captain of this Hawks team.  Everyone expects him to do well on his return to action.  He is key because his skills are the best on the team.  He knows how to tee it up and dish assists.  For the Hawks to win this series in grand fashion is for Toews to do well on his return.

Johnny Oduya

Since we acquired him in a trade I knew this guy would step up in big ways.  Hawks players and fans now find him as an excelling defenseman and a solid player.  When I watch the Hawks games, I have counted 2 goals that have been scored because Johnny has kept the puck in the zone.  That is all you ask in a player like him.  You want to see everyone score but by doing the little stuff also leads to success for others.  He is key simply for his fundamental play keeping pucks in the zone.  Oh yeah watch out!  He can deliver a blow!

Corey Crawford and Ray Emery

Corey has been showing his usual self again in the past games.  He needs to continue his success to give his loyal team a winning chance.

Ray Emery might see limited action if Corey keeps up with his success.  By the Way Emery signed a 2 year contract with the Hawks so if he gets to play he should live up to his extension.  Also, continue what he has been doing all year, being a strong back-up goaltender.

Really wanted the Hawks to play the San Jose Sharks but you know it happens.

Game 1 of this Series will be Wednesday April 12, 2012 @ Phoenix at 9p.m. CT on NBC Sports Network.
