A normal walk to the park turned into a story that 13-year-old Matty Weisman will be able to tell for the rest of his life. Last Saturday, Matty took a normal weekend walk into the park with his father, and ended up wrestling with 7 foot, future hall-of-famer, Shaquille O'Neal.
Since being acquired by the Celtics this off season Shaq is already starting to make his mark in the Boston community. He is establishing himself as a normal person in the community by going out and walking the street like every other person in Boston. No security guard, no police force, nothing. Just 7 feet and 325 pounds of steel.
ESPN recently interviewed the lucky 13-year-old who was picked out of a crowd to wrestle the Celtics big man. You can find the video below. As a reminder, Shaq will be taking on Justin Bieber in a dance-off tonight at 9pm on ABC. I have yet to decide whether I can watch an hour of Justin Bieber without throwing up.
