I like the way Thursday evening started for the Edmonton Oilers on the road against the St. Louis Blues--three fights within the first 4 minutes.  I was thinking to myself, way to grab the momentum boys... I mean, this was the physicality that Edmonton fans have been begging for all season.  However, in this case the young Oilers squad played right into the hands of the St. Louis Blues.

St. Louis is a team that is used to playing a physical brand of hockey on a nightly basis and tonight, that brand of hockey got the home crowd all jacked up.  Usually if you are the road team playing a physical and in-your-face game, puck possession should be in your favor; not tonight.  The Oilers, once again, were on the low end of the shot clock, only mustering 12 shots on goal...
