Gators look to rebound at home against Arizona Wildcats
Tonight in Gainsville the Florida Gators will look to rebound from their lost aginst Syracuse against the Arizona Wildcats. This is Florida's third big game so far this season and the Gators have lost both of the other games. The difference with this game is this one is at home.
Arizona comes into the game at 6-2 and is on a two game winning streak after back to back loses to Mississippi State and San Diego State. The Wildcats are not a hugh scoring team, the are averaging only 68 points a game ranking them 177th in the country. The Wildcats do have a very balanced attack with four players averaging between ten points and tweleve points a game.
Florid'a biggest wrorries against the Wildcats will be Solomon Hill and Jesse Perry. Both Hill and Perry are big threats down low and the Gators will need to prove the can defend down low. With the return of Erik Murphy the Gators hope to slow down the Wildcats big men.
Florida comes in a 5-2 with their loses coming against #2 Ohio State and #3 Syracuse both on the road. The Gators are the #2 scoring team in the league with 87.6 points a game. The Gators are with out a doubt lead by Junior Kenny Boynton who paces the team with 19 points a game. Freshmen Brad Beal is another big scorer for the Gators, his 15.6 points a game rank second on the team. Beal is looking to overcome his worse game as a Gator against Syracuse. Their are four other players averaging double figures for the Gators.
Florida should win this game easy. Keys for the Gators will be seeing how healthy Murphy is and get Beal the ball early and often to get him back on track.
