Today's comments are meant to shine a light on the great things about Hockey. Far too much negative ink has been scribed about the great frozen game of late, so I would like to take today to leave my soapbox in the garage. It'll be back soon.

Last night I really enjoyed what Hockey was all about. There were three games being televised simultaneously and all three were great games, and all for different reasons. Philadelphia and Washington battled for the lead in the Eastern conference. The two teams brought their signature styles to the table - blazing guns, hard hits and terrible goaltending. The Flyers bullied the Caps a bit late in the game, but the thing about the Capitals is while their not the most inclined to violence their players tend to be enormous. Philly on the other hand...
