Now that we've all seen Football Wives on VH1, here's my take.
Overall I thought it was ok. I wish they would have went from another episode for the first show. The drama and over the top attitude of two wives in particular right out the gate was a bit much.
The episode is really all about Bible Study and the drama Chanita created because of it.
So Ms. Chanita arrives and is new to Dallas. Her husband is trying to get back in the big league (NFL) and is going to the UFL. She pretty much takes the ladies by storm and holds nothing back. Chanita gets into it with Melani and Pilar because she doesn't agree with them walking out on a bible study at Amanda Davis house. lmao She went hard and for nothing really. They really hadn't done anything that bad in my eyes but whatever.
Amanda invites Melani to a Bible study and Melani asks if she can invite Pilar. Pilar has a movie premiere to attend that night. Melani talks Pilar into doing both and tells her she shouldn't put a premiere over Jesus. Melani decides to go with Pilar to the "Takers" premiere. They decide they’ll do both.
…Pilar decides she's had enough and it's time to go.
Pilar gets up and has me fall out laughing when she does the ONE FINGER to exit. LMAO! (So old school) Melani soon follows and leaves her hubby behind.
The wives that are left behind are done for. WHATEVER!
After they make their exit they have no idea they will be confronted soon after. Melani said she felt like a heathen after she left which I can sort of understand but she really shouldn't.
Amanda was mad and says, “Seriously, who leaves Bible study?” Then Chanita says, “Who leaves Bible study? Like, who does that?”
Um... how about people that have other things to do. Some people don't even go at all so really whatever! I go to church but hey, I love my football and trust and know, I will leave church from my RAVENS! God still loves me. haha
Chanita is petty as hell. I really don't care for her.
Pilar is well Pilar. She's the money bags out of the group and you can tell she's going to be EXTRA diva.
Melani seems the most normal and so does Dawn.
Dawn really gave off the attitude that she didn't have time for the games and petty drama going on at dinner and with what she has on her plate, I don't blame her.
Some key moments:
So Pilar and Deion have a camp for boys. Pilar comes out on the field to chat with the hubby and he runs her off with, "we don't let wives up on the field". LMAO WHAT??????????? Pilar comes back with, "I’m always shocked at what Deion says. Sometimes I can’t stand him!” I LOVE IT! haha
Pilar and Deion's house is the business. I loved it!
I could never see myself friends with this one right here. From the jump she was more than a handful and really had expectations that were off the meter. I really don't care for her but my impression could change and let's hope that it does.
She tells Pilar, "if you were my friend and left my house I wouldn't be your friend anymore" WHAT??????
Amanda is driving around in this. LMAO! So Dallas~ This one is little Ms. Diva but I'm not hating. The house is pure bling and she has her own little business on the side. I like that she's into church and stands up for her faith. She say, “We are privileged. We know that,” lol AND SO DO WE!
Looking at the preview at the end of the show for the rest of the season, I think it's going to be chuck full of DRAMA.
