First Robidas, then Seguin and now Rome?
The Stars will have to do without yet another player due to injury early in the season. The team announced earlier today that they are placing defenseman Aaron Rome on injured reserve due to the lower body injury November 24th. They also announced they have recalled forward Travis Morin from the Texas Stars.
Rome, in his second season with Dallas, has had five assists and 18 penalty minutes in 27 career games with the Stars. Standing at 6-feet-1 and 220 pounds the Manitoba native was the Kings fourth round selection (104th) in the 2002 Draft and signed by the Stars as a free agent on July 1, 2012.
Leading the AHL with 29 points in 19 with Texas, Travis Morin the 6-foot-1 forward has skated three games for Dallas, having two shots and a plus one rating for the club. Drafted by the Capitals in the ninth round (263rd overall) in the 2004 Draft, Morin signed with Dallas as a free agent on July 12, 2010.
