The Brett Favre investigation is over. As you know the NFL is looking into if Brett sent illicit cell phone pictures to Jenn Sterger. Now all involved including fans and players await a decision from Roger Goodell.
"We're not ruling out this week. We're not ruling out next week," NFL spokesman Greg Aiello said.
Sterger's camp hopes that recent reports that Favre will likely avoid discipline aren't true. "We are hoping the NFL does the right thing," her agent said. "If they choose to penalize him, she feels her name has been cleared and she's been vindicated."
"If anyone portrays this as a one-time incident, that would be completely incorrect," he said. "This is a pattern of behavior on his part that took place over a very long period of time. There were repeated attempts to contact my client."
"We were extremely cooperative with the NFL," he continued. "We provided them with the names of others they could contact. I believe, based on what we turned over to them, that there is sufficient evidence to find he was in violation of the personal conduct policy."
