O.K, so the season is over and although I am upset that my NY Giants didn't make it. I can accept it because the way they have played the last few games showed that they just weren't good or hungry enough. We beat ourselves and the teams who we played were good enough to take advantage of it.
But one thing that I am very proud of this football season was the fact that in my fantasy league which consisted of 13 other owners, I DOMINATED! The pot was a hefty one and if it wasn't for backdoor politics, a shady owner and corrupt commissioner, I would be the declared the winner. I have spoken to a number of fantasy football owners who have played for many years and have never experienced what I have experienced. I had the 7th pick in our draft and ended up with 4 Pro Bowlers. I held the lead throughout almost the entire season from week one. The owner behind me in pts was 123 short. I am proud of myself. I will not let the fact that I was unjustifiably wronged, I will begin 2011 by being better not bitter. I will participate in many other fantasy leagues next season who have integrity and a conscience. The victory in itself is all I needed and the money was just the bonus. It was a lesson learned and everyone in my league who saw how I dominated knows that I deserved the pot, but it's all good. I think for next season I will start my own league with a hefty pot and half of the pot would go to either one charity or a number of charities agreed upon by the league participants.
I am ready for the playoffs. I really really don't like the Eagles but I do want to see Michael Vick show all the haters what's up! I am upset with the Bears because they played horrible and it will indeed bite them in the butt in the playoffs for sure. My prediction is that the Eagles make it to the Superbowl from the NFC. That is only if the Eagles O like figure out how to cover those blitzes that have exposed them. If not then I am going with the Packers. The Saints don't seem too hungry and the Falcons are too young.
I am not sure who will come out the AFC. I believe that if the Ravens can put atleast 21-28 pts on the board every game, then they shouldn't have an issue because their defense will handle their biz. If Flacco can't deliver, then I know of a certain person who will be so upset because I was told she could "smell a ring". lol
