Pastor Maldonado receives a 10-place grid penalty after the stewards of Brazil motioned him to be weighed during the Saturday qualifying session. Pastor did not do as told, and will suffer by being dropped from 6th to 16th. The stewards also said it wasn’t necessarily just this one incident that caused the penalty, it’s because it’s Maldonado’s 3rd penalty like this of the year. When the Venezuelan natives penalties are put in action…Lewis Hamilton will lead the field to the green for the final time with the McLaren team. Why will it be his final time? Because Hamilton will be leaving the McLaren team at the end of this year. Hamilton’s McLaren teammate, Jenson Button will start along side Hamilton on Sunday.Mark Webber will start 3rd with his Red Bull teammate starting behind him in fourth. Vettel this weekend isn’t only going for the win…but going for his fourth F1 World Championship, he would be the youngest driver to ever achieve this! Michael Schumacher will race the final F1 race of his career tomorrow at Brazil. Michael will start 12th. Felipe Massa will start 5th and Nico Hulkenberg will start behind him in 6th. Fernando Alonso who is 13 points behind Sebastian Vettel in the points standings will benefit from the Maldonado penalty…Why? because it moves him from 8th to 7th on the starting grid. Kimi Raikkonen and Nico Rosberg round out your top 10. Kamui Kobayashi in his last race with Sauber qualified 15th…Kamui has also started a web site to collect money to help him in 2013 find a racing team…so he basically is asking YOU the fans for money to find a racing team…when he has millions of dollars!! Romain Grosjean didn’t even make it to Q2 after he qualified a very disappointing 18th for his Lotus team. The race tomorrow will be 71 laps around the 4.3 KM circuit. Last years winner here was Mark Webber and two years ago Sebastian Vettel won the race here in Brazil. Felipe Massa has also won here 3 times!
