For each of the 32 teams in the National Football League, work is seemingly never done.
From the Super Bowl XLVIII champion Seattle Seahawks to the first pick in the 2014 draft, the Houston Texans, there are players to evaluate, contracts to terminate and players to re-sign.
The goal for all is to be better in 2014.
How does this happen? The game plan is different for every team.
So here’s a look at each club and what it may be thinking about this offseason. You will notice that each to-do list also points to the team’s regular season as well. In some instances, it’s the same key issues these clubs have been trying to resolve for more than a season.
Meanwhile, the analysis for all 32 teams is a look back as well as a look ahead to a season that will get here faster than we care to admit.
It all adds up to more football talk as the free-agency period draws closer and the real fun begins.
Finally, here’s a thank you to Spotrac (subscription required) for their free-agent lists for each team.
