Carl Edwards started off the night by bouncing off the wall at the exit of turn four. Edwards ended his night celebrating in victory lane. Edwards' team took the time to fix the car as best as possible with multiple pit stops. They seemed to get it fixed well enough to compete, but at times it didn't seem like he would even get a top-five finish. Then Edwards found himself on the inside of the front row on a late restart with about six laps to go. Trevor Bayne, Edwards' teammate restarted right behind Edwards and pushed him into the lead on the restart. Edwards did have to fend off one last effort from Kyle Busch on the last lap before getting the win.
Brad Keselowski dominated much of the race, but spun out with about 20 laps to go. Brad had a punctured tire, and spun out entering pit road to bring out the caution. Keselowski did rebound to a sixth place finish, but not quite the rebound that Edward's had.
Elliott Sadler won the Nationwide Dash For Cash promotion with his fourth place finish tonight. Sadler's closest competition for the Dash For Cash was Ricky Stenhouse Jr. With as little as seven laps to go both drivers were battling for the Cash in fourth and fifth, but Stenhouse dropped back to ninth on the final run. Sadler also gained five points on Stenhouse in the championship battle with four races remaining.
