As many expected this week, despite the Dolphins best attempts at getting him into the game, veteran starting inside linebacker Channing Crowder will be among the list of inactive players for tonights game against the New England Patriots. Here is the rest of the inactives for both the Fins and the Pats:
Miami Dolphins: Marlon Moore, Channing Crowder, Robert Rose, Patrick Brown, John Jerry, Jeron Mastrud, Jared Odrick, Tyler Thigpen (3rd QB)
New England Patriots: Nick Kaczur, Terrance Wheatley, Fred Taylor, Taylor Price, Thomas Clayton, Rich Ohrnberger, Kyle Love and Shawn Crable.
Pat McQuistan will be getting his second straight start in place of the ill starter John Jerry, who will be missing his second straight game with an illness he contracted last week.
Ike Alama-Francis will be active for the first time this year, so look for him to get some reps in running situations, as he is superior to rookie Koa Misi in setting the edge against the run.
Go Fins! Remember, the key will be not getting into a shootout with Tom Brady and his high-octane passing game, but to pound the ball in the red-zone, and control the clock, much like they did to Peyton Manning last year on Monday Night Football. It will be interesting to see if Miami again employs this strategy.
