Today is the day where NFL teams around the league cut down their roster to the final 53. The Miami Dolphins are no different, and they have already gotten started on the cuts, bright and early.
While you can check out my roster predictions here, you can get news here, at Playoff Bound Sports all day on who got cut, and who made the roster.
So let's get this party started.
In a much expected move, backup defensive lineman Montavius Stanley was cut this morning, along with outside linebacker, and special teams dynamo Erik Walden, who was just announced as getting cut.
But in a surprising move today, the Dolphins have parted ways with last years 3rd round pick, wide receiver Patrick Turner.
Turner was performing well during the pre-season, but undrafted rookie Marlon Moore and Roberto Wallace were getting the job done as well, but were playing at a high level the whole off-season, which in the end, proved to dig Turner's grave.
Turner has always had trouble with his routes, and with the coaching staff showing more interest in Moore and Wallace, it was only a matter of time for Turner.
Stayed tuned the rest of the day, for updates on who makes the cut and who doesn't.
