Both teams have released their list of inactives today, and the only notable name is on the Bengals list, starting cornerback Johnathan Joseph.
- Dolphins - QB Tyler Thigpen (3rd), CB Nolan Carroll, TE Mickey Shuler, S Reshad Jones, OT Lydon Murtha, DE Clifton Geathers, OT Pat Brown, and WR Marlon Moore.
- Bengals - CB Johnathan Joseph, S Roy Williams, S Chinedum Ndukwe, C Reggie Stephens, DE Jonathan Fanene, OT Anthony Collins, WR Jerome Simpson, and QB Dan LeFevour (3rd).
With Joseph out today, it leaves Pacman Jones and Leon Hall as the starting cornerbacks.
The Dolphins have rookie guard John Jerry active today, but do not expect him to get the start. He will be getting some time in on special teams though, with tackle Lydon Murtha inactive today.
In more surprising news, the Dolphins are starting receiver Davone Bess over Brian Hartline today. Personally I prefer Bess in the slot, but maybe the coaches saw something on film that they liked with Bess lining up outside instead of the slot.
