The Dodgers have agreed to an historic extension with ace southpaw Clayton Kershaw, reports ESPN.com's Ramona Shelburne (via Twitter). The deal is for seven years and $215MM, and includes an out clause that Kershaw can exercise after five seasons. Kershaw's representatives at Excel Sports Management have secured their client the highest-ever annual salary for a baseball player.
