Defending the Donovan McNabb Trade

The following is a variation of a conversation repeated in every Philadelphia office building on the morning of April 5th: “Hey, did you hear that Donovan McNabb got traded?” “That's great!” “...to the Redskins.” “DOOM! DAMNATION! RAGNAROK!” Not enough words exist in the English language to describe the irony of those emotions beguiling Eagles fans following the McNabb trade and there aren't enough cheap pharmaceuticals on this side of the Canadian border to understand them. Instead, take a walk down Common Sense Lane and realize it's not so bad... there may even be a cheesesteak for you at the end. Here’s to defending the ousting of Donovan McNabb.
