The talent rich state of Georgia has had a lot of talk about this year being the best. With having the number-one player in the nation coming from the Peach State, while he may be the talk of the nation. There are still others drawing a lot of big attention, including Jarrad Davis. Davis, who recently has been offered by Tennessee, has come into the spotlight over the past couple of weeks gaining the Vols, and the Auburn Tigers offer. But just who is the Kingsland, Georgia star?

Listed at 6'2" 205-pounds, Davis has gained a lot of excitement from the two Southeastern Conference offers.

"I was pretty excited to get it (the offer)."

Being new to the recruiting game, Davis insisted that he had a lot to learn about the schools that are in the process of recruiting him.

" I don't know much about Tennessee. The offer has put them up there, with Auburn. But they are the only two that have offered me so far."

While he may not know much now, the Kinsland, Georgia native is planning to hit up the road, including up to Knoxville to check out the Vols.

"I'm planning on visiting Auburn, Duke, and Georgia Tech at the end of the month. I also plan on attending both Vanderbilt's and Tennessee's spring game in April."

While he is not set on where he wants to go, Davis does know just what it is going to take to land his talents.

" When I go on campus, I wanna see what I can major in. Second, I wanna look at the facilities, their winning tradition, and how good they have been recently."

Having what he wants in mind is going to help Davis in the process we call recruiting. But when will the day be he makes his decision?

" I want to be able to make before my season begins, or a couple of weeks in. I'm going to be going to a lot of places this summer, so I'll be able to do that."

Davis mentioned that he has heard a lot of navy, and believes Georgia Tech could be the next to pull the trigger on an offer.
