The off-season in college football is always full of transfer news, and that's true even in Iowa.

Earlier this week, running back Josh Brown let it be known that heplanned to transfer away from Iowa. This didn't come as much of ashock, considering the depth problem the Hawkeyes now have at theposition.

Brown red-shirted last season and was expected toface fierce competition for playing time this coming season. AdamRobinson and Brandon Wegher are both returning starters, and JewellHampton looks to return strong from injury, not to mention a fewpowerful running backs coming in with the freshman class.

Brown has not mentioned a school of choice yet, but the messageboards indicate he is transferring to a school closer to his home inSt. Petersburg, Florida.
