The Worcester Sharks used Logan Couture's American Hockey League leading seventh game winning goal and a solid performance from goaltender Alex Stalock to defeat the Manchester Monarchs 5-2 Saturday night at the DCU Center in Worcester, Massachusetts in front of 5,139 excited fans. After a scoreless opening period that saw the WorSharks outshoot Manchester 16-8 and Worcester playing one of their most physical periods on the season, the Monarchs would get on the board with a power play goal at 4:34 of the second period.
