Even if just temporarily, the Dallas Stars have addressed the issue that they faced in regards to Vern Fiddler's return.  Some were very concerned that Colton Sceviour would be the odd man out and be forced to head back to Austin.  However, Jim Nill announced today that defenseman, Aaron Rome has been placed back on IR after aggravating a lower body injury against Colorado earlier this week.

See the press release below and continue to cheer on Sceviour...he's not going anywhere any time soon.

FRISCO, Texas - Dallas Stars General Manager Jim Nill announced today that defenseman Aaron Rome has been placed on injured reserve, retroactive to the lower body injury he suffered on Dec. 16.

Rome, 30, is in his second season with the Dallas Stars, posting five assists and 18 penalty minutes in 30 career games with the Stars. The 6-foot-1, 220-pound defenseman from Nesbitt, Man., was Los Angeles' fourth-round selection (104th overall) in the 2002 NHL Draft and was signed by Dallas as a free agent on July 1, 2012.
