Cowboys Running Back Lance Dunbar Out For The Season
The Dallas Cowboys running game was dealt a major blow today with the news of running back Lance Dunbar's season ending knee injury.
Dallas Cowboys.com's Bryan Broaddus reported via Twitter that Dallas Cowboys running back Lance Dunbar will have season ending knee surgery.
At first it was reported that Dunbar only hyper extended his knee and would be out only a couple of weeks but after his MRI today it was discovered that he injured a ligament in his knee.
MRI on Lance Dunbar was not good. Sounds like Dunbar will need to have surgery to fix a posterior lateral corner. His season will be over.— Bryan Broaddus (@BryanBroaddus) November 29, 2013
Dunbar rushed for 82 yards and also chipped in with one reception for 12 yards in the Cowboys 31-24 Thanksgiving victory over the Oakland Raiders at AT&T Stadium.
