From Associated Press:
Last year, Tony Ugoh lost his starting job. On Wednesday, he was simply out of a job.
The offensive lineman the Colts once projected as its left tackle of the future was placed on the waived-injured list after missing practice with an undisclosed foot injury. To take his spot, the Colts claimed another offensive lineman, Joe Reitz, off waivers from Miami.
Colts players and coach Jim Caldwell were not available after practice to comment on the move, but are expected to talk about it Thursday.
This means that Charlie Johnson will be taking over fully now and will be the man at left tackle. Left guard will most likely be occupied by Jamey Richard. The Colts are good moving forward and have showed confidence despite some of the surprising cuts made.
