Clemson was finally able to win a road game and earn bowl eligibility as they put away Wake Forest 30-10 on Saturday.
The Tigers scored their most touchdowns since Andre Ellington scored three by himself against Georgia Tech on Oct. 23.
Kyle Parker had his most efficient game of the season, completing 15 of 17 passes for 194 and two touchdowns, including a beautifully-thrown forty-yard pass to Jaron Brown to give the Tigers a 13-0 lead at the half.
Brown was Clemson's leading receiver, catching five balls for 93 yards and a touchdown. DeAndre Hopkins also had five catches for 36 yards and a touchdown.
Jamie Harper came up just one yard short of his week-old career high, rushing for 142 yards on 24 carries. His 63-yard touchdown run put the Tigers up 30-3 with 8:19 left in the game.
After Parker found Hopkins on a two-yard touchdown pass in the third quarter, Dabo Swinney left it to Tajh Boyd to close out the game. Boyd was four-for-eight for 37 yards and an interception.
Chandler Catanzaro may have put the Tigers' kicking concerns to rest, making all of three of his field goal attempts, including a 43-yarder in the first quarter.
Clemson held the Demon Deacon offense to just 205 yards, with much of that yardage coming against the Tigers' second string defense late in the game.
Da'Quan Bowers sacked Tanner Price twice to pull within one sack of breaking the Clemson single-season sack record held by former linebacker Keith Adams.
Clemson was 0-4 on the road this season before winning in Winston-Salem, a place that had been unfriendly to the Tigers in recent years.
With the win, the Tigers moved to 6-5 (4-4 ACC) on the year, finally gaining bowl eligibility with just their yearly matchup with South Carolina remaining on the schedule.
