I'm not quite sure what has got into Chicago Bulls fans (bloggers in particular) lately, but they are feeling hella' confident right now. Ever since they signed Carlos Boozer, and Derrick Rose has been playing well for Team USA, they have turned into some cocky SOB's.
During the past two days I have been directed to two crazy articles written on different Chicago Bulls blogs. As much as I tried to take both articles with a grain of salt because they were both non-fact based and showed zero level of intelligence, they still worked their way under my skin and got me all worked up.
The authors of these two articles make two claims. A) Derrick Rose is clearly better than Rajon Rondo. B) The Bulls will finish higher than the Celtics in the Eastern Conference.
I'm sure by now your probably saying the same things I am/was. Is Carlos Boozer really enough to put a team that didn't get out of the first round over the defending Eastern Conference Champions? I can understand that their looking at their best season since the MJ era, but still. What the heck are they smoking in the Windy City these days?
I'll be the first to admit I'm a Celtics homer, but I'm not going to come out and say that Rajon Rondo is clearly better than Chris Paul. Or that the Boston Celtics are clearly better than the Miami Heat or Los Angeles Lakers. I'm a realist. The two authors of these posts were not.
