Some Trade Talks have heated up and some have cooled down but that's not the situation between the Chicago Blackhawks and the Montreal Canadiens. Through the span of this past week, the Hawks and Habs have been in deep trade talks regarding players Patrick Shark of the Hawks and Tomas Plekanec of Habs.

Sharp 30, a Left Winger from Winnipeg Manitoba, has come off three strong seasons with the Hawks recording two 66 point season and one 71 point season. Sharp has been on the trade market for a long span of the summer, getting interest from the Leafs and now the Habs.

Plekanec 29, a strong centerman from Kladno, Czech Republic has had on and off seasons from the beggining of his career to the end of the last season. Plekanec has been on trade talks since the draft in June. Habs GM Marc Bergevin hasn't been shopping his star centreman but is listening to offers.

Many tweaks have been made with each counter off, including young defenseman PK Subban from the Habs and top six defenseman Niklas Hjalmarsson. The Hawks are looking for a prospect in return bringing Sharp and Hjalmarsson to Montreal and Plekanec, Subban and a prospect to Chicago.
