What can you say!? The Chargers stink... Here's the game in a nutshell. Rivers was hurried all game long due to total lack of pass protection. The problem was Charger offensive lineman were campaigning for cameos in Greys Anatomy as 300 pounder after 300 pounder went down with an injury. The lone bright spot was rookie WR Vincent Brown who made 2 TD catches. Although one of them was taken away due to a flaw in the rules with the DB touching the ball while his foot was out of bounds. Even tho Brown had full reception and control of the ball in the end zone.
On the other side Carson Palmer finally began to resemble his days in Bengal stripes connecting on a few deep bombs. But the offense came from Michael Bush, who in the absence of star RB Darren McFadden really came thru for his team in a showdown for 1st in the AFC West where the Raiders currently stand alone. Bush pounded the rock up the middle consistently and even showed some speed on a long run in the 2nd quarter. Credit the offensive line of the Raiders who weren't on ER as the shoved back the helpless D-Line of the Chargers.
So much for Norvember as San Diego has lost 4 in a row and seem far away from there normal November push. The only pushing in San Diego may be that of Norv Turner out of the Chargers facility if they miss the playoffs for a second straight year.
