ESPN Boston's Chris Forsberg is reporting that the Boston Celtics will open up Training Camp at Salve Regina University in Newport, Rhode Island. The C's will hold practices from Sept. 28th-Oct. 2nd. The team will return to Waltham on Oct. 3rd to continue to get ready for the 2010-11 season. The Celtics will host their annual Media Day on Sept. 27th in Waltham.

I have been a lifelong Celtics fan since the 70's. The Bird years were fantastic. The 80's brought us 3 NBA Titles. The new "Big 4" won their 1st. Title in 2008 and looking to get another one in 2011. I can't wait for the upcoming season
