Wow. What a crazy game. Northwestern notched the school's first-ever 20-win season by thumping Indiana 73-58 today in the opening round of the Big Ten Tournament. The score was extremely deceiving as NU found themselves down 45-39 late in the second half and then overcame their early atrocious shooting to finish the game on a 34-13 run. The 'Cats went 2-18 from 3-point land in the first half and I thought "here we go again, another BTT nosedive". Yet, they muscled their way through it and used some gritty D to stick around long enough to make their surge.Kudos to Alex, Davide and especially Mike Capocci, my unsung hero of the game.
