A theme of the day - poor officiating - contributed to a rugby scrum that somehow saw Northwestern with more fouls than the over-agressive Boilers as Purdue rallied to beat NU 69-61. The 'Cats led from the opening tip through halftime until they went cold and couldn't even get open looks for the first 10 minutes of the second half. NU had no answer for Jajuan Johnson or Moore who preyed on the interior and also the foul-plagued 'Cats.The Boilers ended NU's dreams of moving on in the Big Ten Tourney, and the ornery Purdue crowd seemed to be influencing the calls down the stretch. The turning point in the game came when NU was down 45-43 and Luka Mirkovic was called for a tech for a blatant elbow....
