The last big fish in this year's free agent pool has been signed, and by the looks of it, free agent frenzy is pretty much over. Tomas Kaberle was signed by the Carolina Hurricanes this afternoon to a three year deal worth $12.75 million with a cap-hit of $4.25 M. I think that price tag is just right for Kabby who will try and give the Hurricanes an extra push into the playoffs next season. They missed the final spot in the East by only three points this season.They were 21st in the league for goals allowed and they clearly needed some help on the blueline.
