Derrick Rose is unbelievable. He just keeps getting better.
Monday night's game against the Pistons started out looking pretty bad with the Pistons dominating the game but all that changed in the third quarter. In that third the Bulls looked like the team that beat Boston on Saturday rather then the team that lost to the Nets and & 76ers last week. Drose lead all scorers with 29 but Carlos Boozer wasn't far behind scoring 27 of his own. Rose also dished out 7 assists and grabbed 5 rebounds while Boozer tallied another double-double with his 11 rebounds.
One interesting thing to note from this game is that Thibs might have finally settled a bit on a rotation and shortened his bench. Only seven players saw double digits in time play. All the starters minus Keith Bogans played over 30 minutes lead by Rose with 43 minutes while Taj and Brewer came off the bench and each played over 26 minutes. The other three players who came off the bench were Korver, Asik and Watson and they combined for only 14 minutes of action which is just 2 less then Keith Bogans saw.
With the win the Bulls improve to 25-12 and 17-3 at home. They now hit the road for the next two games against the Bobcats on Wednesday and the Pacers on Friday before welcoming the new look Miami Heat to town on Saturday.
So what will be the hotter ticket in town this weekend Bulls vs Heat or Bears vs Seahawks?
