With all the chatter about a pay increase for Carl Pelini, it didn't sound like NU head coach Bo Pelini was going to see a raise this year. But he did, from $1.851 million to $2.1 million. Given that Nebraska has been one of the five most profitable programs in all of college football, you could hardly argue that NU can't afford it. It makes Pelini the fifth highest paid coach in the Big 12 behind Mack Brown (Texas), Bob Stoops (Oklahoma), Gary Pinkel (Missouri), and Mike Gundy (Oklahoma State).
